It Doesn’t Make Sense

1. High oil prices / We don’t drill / We help Brazil drill.
2. Support the “Youth Revolution” in Egypt, but not in Iran.  Then uses the military in Libya.
3. Praise for the Muslim Brotherhood as peaceful, but claims that the Tea Party is violent.  In Madison, WI, the unions are violent, but Obama declares they are peaceful.
4. No war for oil – No war – No war without Congress – War – War without Congress in a third Muslim country.
5. France is leading the attack.
6. Disrespect England and Israel, traditional allies while we are friendly with our traditional foes.

Is America on the wrong side?

Israel is being forced to fight back and we will do nothing.

Debunk Glenn Beck

The head of Media Matters has eighty-six people on staff to debunk Glenn and his ten staff members that produce his show.  Media Matters is asking George Soros for more funding to add to their staff.

Glenn discussed that America is a special and sacred land, but that there are troubles ahead.

Worldview

There is a worldview that is anything other than a Republic.  He points to a chalkboard with about 15 – 20 magnetic logos of organizations that support it clustered under an “Open Society” entry on the board.  There is another board entry for the U.N.  Another for a Caliphate and yet another for Communism.  A Jeffersonian Republic is the last entry with only the Tea Party and the 9/12 Project organizations appear as supporting organizations.

Libya

• Glenn does not understand Libya.
• He showed a chalkboard map of North Africa.  You have to start with Tunisia (geographically immediately West of Libya).  The demonstrations started in Tunisia.
• He feels that Tunisia could be our modern day Archduke Ferdinand moment.  (The assassination of the Archduke led to WWI.)
• Wikileaks added to Tunisia’s uprising.

Libya

• Revolutions spread to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Yemen, but we are only protecting in Libya. 
• Something is wrong.
• Until 2009, Qaddafi had a PR firm working to rehabilitate his image.
• Soros helped Qaddafi’s son get into the London School of Economics.
• Qaddafi’s son was caught plagiarizing and Soros’ advice to the School was…

“He had advised the school, that it was acceptable to receive the contribution form Qaddafi’s son, Saif, on the grounds that he appeared at the time to be a believer in Open Society and claimed to be working to move Libya in that direction.”

Glenn feels there is a fight for power in the world.

“A Responsibility to Protect” (RtoP)

• He referred to a report entitled “A Responsibility to Protect”

• The idea for A Responsibility to Protect did not come from the U.N.
• The idea came from Samantha Powers, an advisor to Obama and wife of Cass Sunsteen.
• George Soros liked the idea and funded work on it.
• The U.N. adopts the ‘idea’.
• Obama uses the idea to go to war in Libya.

Israel

• Glenn discusses Richard Faulk, the U.N.’s special representative on Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
• Faulk is very anti-Israel.
• Faulk said on the radio that…

“Israeli policies amount to ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity.”

·        Faulk compares Israel to the Nazis.

“The kinds of collective punishments that are being imposed on the entire people of Gaza have a resemblance to collective punishment that was imposed by the Nazis in Germany and that if this kind of circumstance is allowed to persist, it could produce a holocaust”  12/17/1006

·        Faulk is also a “9/11 Truther”.

·        Glenn held up a copy of the report “A Responsibility to Protect”.  This idea calls for protection against four evils…

o       Genocide

o       War Crimes

o       Ethnic cleansing

o       Crimes against humanity

·        These four evils can be summarized as a “Holocaust”.

·        Glenn feels that Faulk would like to use “A Responsibility to Protect” to invade Israel to head off the “holocaust” that may come to Gaza.

·        As a leading indicator of this approach, Glenn points to Turkey.  The Deputy Prime Minister calls for action in Israel…

We wish that the United Nations had made such resolutions and countries had taken action in the face of incidents in Gaza, Palestine and the other regions…”

·        Glenn recapped the current tragedies that have occurred in Israel, bombing, murder of the settler family, rocket attacks.

·        Glenn feels we are on the wrong side and against Israel.

• Brazil has been granted approval for a floating oil and gas storage facility in the Gulf of Mexico.
• No one has yet responded to charges they made against Stephen Lerner’s plan for Economic Terrorism.

Glenn discussed Good vs. Evil, not Left vs. Right.  Sometimes Evil disguises itself pretty well until you get real close.

He then discussed the demonstrations planned for England for this weekend, with about 100,000 people to attend.  He showed a poster advertising the event showing a giant horse (people power) standing in a crowded square.  The poster called for a cessation of cuts to education.  Their plans are to “strike, take over, occupy and release all hell.”  Glenn asked whether that sounded more like Good or like Evil.

Economic Terrorism

There has been very little media coverage of the labor leader planning to collapse the stock market. 

• Representative Jason Chaffetz (R ) UT has written Eric Holder asking for an investigation. 
• The Business Insider did a good job. 
• The Washington Post had a columnist review this and he reported that there is “much to fear” from Stephen Lerner’s plan.

Glenn noted that Stephen Lerner pushed the administration to appoint Elizabeth Warren to head the Consumer Protection Bureau.  She oversees the Wall Street Reform Bill.  It’s an office in the Federal Reserve so it doesn’t have any authority.  Lerner met with her at the Treasury Department.  Glenn showed a copy of the visitor log for Ms Warren, highlighting Mr. Lerner’s visit..

Stephen Lerner

1. 4 visits to the White House
2. Pressed the White House to nominate Elizabeth Warren to head up the Consumer Protection Bureau.
3. He visited her at the Treasury Department.
4. One of (if not the) “most important labor leaders” in the country according to an influential writer.
5. Economic terrorist

Glenn asks who else is getting into the White House?  There was the “9/11 Truther” (Van Jones) and now there is this economic terrorist.  Who else?  Does Elizabeth Warren know about Lerner’s economic terrorism?

Glenn went on to discuss Lerner’s plan.  If we assume that Lerner is right and all our economic problems are due to the banks, what is it they did?

• The main thing is that they made loans to people who could not pay them back.
• Acorn demonstrated in favor of minorities and illegals getting those loans.  Glenn showed part of a San Diego Union Tribune article from 2/6/2006…

“Undocumented residents recruited for loans

“…Which uses tax identification numbers instead of social security numbers, is similar to programs run by small lenders…around the country.”

Glenn reviewed the financial crash process where politicians passed legislation to push banks to lend to minorities and others who could not pay for housing loans.  When the housing crash came, many people had to leave their unaffordable (to them) homes.  Now Stephen Lerner is saying that the banks now have the money and the assets they took back and he wants to crash the banks.  Glenn played part of the audiotape of Lerner’s talk at Pace University.  Another portion of the tape…

“There are four things we could do that could really upset Wall Street.  One is, if city and state and other governmental entities demanded to renegotiate their debt because they’re paying too much interest.  And, you might say, well, why would the banks ever do it?  Because cities and counties could say we won’t do business in the future with you.”

Glenn says, in effect, this is the same scheme that brought down the housing industry applied to banks.  It will lead to the same result, a crash.

“We would connect three ideas:  That we’re not broke, there’s plenty of money.  They have the money.  We need to get it back and that they’re using Bloomberg and other people in government as the vehicle to try to destroy us.  And so that we need to take on those folks at the same time.”

Glenn defined “insolvency” to the media.  It means…

“The inability to pay debts as they fall due.”

“He warned that ‘Retreating will mean decades of harsher oppression and greater instances than what you have endured.”

Qaddafi

• Glenn says that Qaddafi has friends all over the world. 
• He has about $40 billion socked away in various places.

“We have an intelligence report that Quadddaffi has told others he intends to have me assassinated.  It’s a strange feeling to find there is a ‘contract’ out on yourself.”

Economic Freedom

Glenn showed an article from a Maine newspaper, which reported that the town of Sedgwick has declared “Food Independence” from the FDA to allow people to drink milk from local farmers.

Glenn asks if anyone gave advice to you growing up to cause chaos, amplify your hate or feel your anger.  No.  But today there are people advocating those things.  Radicals that have been in the White House more than once wish to collapse our economy, turn us against each other, redistribute the wealth and overthrow the government of the U.S.

He has this on tape tonight.

Glenn said he was trying to find a policeman to help evaluate the information they received over the weekend.  He doesn’t trust the Justice Department, the Congress or the Administration.

Economic Terrorism Defined

A labor leader gave an address at Pace University to a select group of attendees.  Glenn feels that this is a plan for economic terrorism.  Economic Terrorism is defined as…

“Varied, coordinated and sophisticated or massive destabilizing actions in order to disrupt the economic and financial stability of a state, a group of states or a society (such as market oriented Western societies) for psychological or religious motives.”

A Current Domestic Terrorism Case

Glenn discussed a man recently convicted of “conspiracy against the U.S.” for minting his own coins.  Per the prosecution in this case, (the DOJ)

“Attempts to undermine the legitimate currency of this country are simply a unique form of domestic terrorism.

While these forms of anti-government activities do not involve violence, they are every bit as insidious and represent a clear and present danger to the stability of this country…”

The Plan for Economic Terrorism

• The Left Forum is the largest conference of leftists, progressives, etc. in the country.
• They held a conference at Pace University this weekend.
• Glenn played an audiotape of one speaker saying…
• “We are talking about why unions are so invested because of their pension plans and why ungovernability as Frances Fox Piven and Cloward taught us.  You know poor people’s movements are successful when they create conditions of ungovernability and then you win victories.”
• Glenn discussed the term ungovernable as being the same as overturning stability in a country – Like Egypt, Greece, Madison, Wisconsin.
• Stephen Lerner…
• Former official at the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
• He was the Director of the union’s Banking and Finance campaign.
• That campaign was the one where busloads of union members descended on the homes of targeted banking executives to shout through bull horns, mill around the front door, etc.
• Glenn’s staff contacted SEIU to determine if Stephen Lerner was still associated with that organization, but without success.
• Mr. Lerner was identified as part of SEIU in documentation at the conference.
• He was captured on audiotape saying…

“Unions are almost dead.  We cannot survive doing what we do, but the simple fact of the matter is community organizations are almost dead also and so I think if you think about what we need to do it may give us some direction which is essentially what the folks that are in charge – you know the big banks and everything – what they want is stability.  There are actually extraordinary things we could do right now to destabilize the folks that re in power and start to rebuild a movement.

“For example, 10% of homeowners going back to where you started a quarter o the people who own a home are underwater.  Right their home they are paying more for it then it is worth.  10% of those people are in strategic default, meaning they are refusing to pay but they are staying in their home.  That’s totally spontaneous, right.  They figured out it takes a year to kick me out of my home because foreclosure is backed up.  I’m going to say I won’t pay.  It’s a good business decision.  If you could double that number you would you could put banks at the edge of insolvency again.

“What would happen if we could organize homeowners in mass to do a mortgage strike?  Just say if we get half a million people to agree, we’ll agree we won’t pay our mortgages.  It would literally cause a new financial crisis for the banks, not for us, we would be doing quite well because we wouldn’t be paying.”

“The folks that control this country care about one thing – how the stock market does.  How the bond market does and what their bonus is.  So I think we need to have a very simple strategy.  How do we bring down the stock market, how do we bring down their bonuses?  How do we interfere with their ability to be rich and that means we have to politically isolate them, economically isolate them and disrupt them.

“A bunch of us around the country think about who would be a really good company to hate.  We decided that would be JP Morgan Chase based here in New York.  And so we’re going to roll out over the next couple of months what will so what we’re looking at is in the first week of May can we get enough people together – we’re starting now – to really have a week of action in New York with the goal of… I don’t want to give details because I don’t know which police agents are in the room, but the goal would be that we would roll our of New York the first week of May.

1. Influential labor (ties) to SEIU.
2. (At least) 4 White House visits (Stephen Lerner – can’t get the White House to verify either.)
3. A visit to the U.S. Treasury Dept (Met with Elizabeth Warren) in December 2010.
4. Targeting JP Morgan Chase, disrupt New York City (on the tape he talks about ten other states as well.)
5. Create “Mortgage Strike” to trigger “Financial crisis” (also student loan defaults.
6. Crash NYSE / “create instability”.

“If labor can’t lead but we are a critical part of it we do have money, we have millions of members who are furious.  But I don’t think this kind of movement can happen unless community groups and other activists take the lead and that’s a big reversal of how a lot of these coalitions even thought about it and so labor unions helping community groups or community groups helping us narrowly if we really believe that we are in a transformative stage of what’s happening in capitalism then we used to connect these in a stage of what’s happening in capitalism then we need to connect those in a serious way and develop a real ability to put a boot in the wheel then we have to think not about labor and community alliances, we have to think about how together we are building something that actually has the capacity to disrupt how the system operates.”

Glenn noted that he has been forecasting organized economic disruption and that the people would be “played” and used to help implement those plans.  This is the proof.

Glenn points out that it is impossible for union leaders like Richard Trumpka (President of AFL-CIO) and Andy Stern (former president of SEUI) to not know Mr. Lerner.  And furthermore know what he is planning and to not mention it to the president.

The coin guy goes to jail, shouldn’t the DOJ be interested in this guy?

What Do You Do?

To union members…

·        You don’t want to cause the collapse of the system because many pension plans are heavily invested in the stock market.  If this plan succeeds, you loose big time.

·        Where are you?  Why are you not speaking up?  You must fumigate your organization.

Other Factoids

• Andy Stern (past President of SEIU) was the number 1 visitor to the White House when Steven Lerner was at SEIU.
• Richard Trumpka (President of the AFT-CIO) talks to the White House daily and meets at least weekly.
• Secretary of Labor Solice and V.P. Joe Biden are coordinating with the unions on Madison WI cons.
• President Obama on the campaign trail boasted of his lifetime of working with SEIU.
• The DOJ won’t investigate anyone on the left.  Glenn doesn’t expect an investigation.

9/12 Project

Two years ago, Glenn started the 9/12 Project.  He asks the audience members if they feel the person on the tape was serious about collapsing the system – almost everyone raised their hands.

Emergency Broadcast System (EBS)

Glenn discussed the Emergency Broadcast System (EBS).  This was used during the Cold War to notify TV viewers and radio listeners of a Russian missile attack.  He said a message was initiated in one network station in Washington D.C and went out to other stations.  They, in turn, notified other stations, which then notified others and so on.  He said that to fully notify everyone required about two and a half hours.  Missile flight time over the North Pole is on the order of twelve minutes.

To be prepared, Glenn recommends…

2. Know the truth (educate yourself)
3. Be trustworthy
4. Be connected – Phone tree
5. Be visible – April 21^st.  He wants everyone to be a flash mob.  He wants local groups to organize and suggests they gather bags of groceries to deliver to those in the unemployment lines.  He also suggests local groups do something monthly.

• Glenn started the program laying on the floor in front of the old TV that usually graces the set.  He explained that when he was young, he was the family’s remote.  On the TV was being shown an episode of Star Trek and he discussed that some of the plots of that series were between Good and Evil.

• Detained women and girls for breaking moral “codes”.
• Re-enacted the “cutting of the hands” punishment for thieves.
• Initiated the brutal slaughter of innocent civilians in southern Africa.
• Currently 1 out of 3 people in Libya are living in poverty.

Leftists and Islamic Extremists

• Glenn feels that the radical left is working with Islamic extremists and that this is a major problem.
• Glenn then showed a video of an interview being given by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.  Mr. Netanyahu was discussing how odd it was that radical Leftists were “Fusing” with Islamic extremists because of some of their different belief systems. 
• Glenn said that the Israeli intelligence has created a new group to watch out for this “fusion”.

Glenn noted that President Obama launched cruise missile strikes without notifying congressional leaders or getting congressional approval.  He then went on to touch on problems in other Middle Eastern countries, Bahrain, Yemen, Egypt, Israel, and Saudi Arabia.  All these events occurred over the weekend. 

Glenn then mentioned the growing anti-religion movement.

Stock Market

Despite all these global happenings, the U.S. stock market is still up.  That tells Glenn that there is no shortage of money.  However, he does feel that there is a shortage of…

• Decency
• All of these, the media does not report on.

U.S. the “Bad Guy”

Glenn pointed out that there are many countries that don’t like us.  He feels that in these other countries, whatever the U.S. does will be portrayed in a negative light.  He showed the headline from an Australian newspaper” World starves as America burns food to stay on the road.”  In this case we’re heartless and that we are not trying to save the planet with reduced emissions, or we are looking for alternative sources of energy.

Glenn referred to his four e’s – enlightenment, education, empowerment, and entrepreneurship.  He discussed Martin Luther King discussing Faith, Hope and Love.  Glenn’s four e’s translate to…

Economic Terrorism

There are people planning on how to destroy our markets.  It is economic terrorism.

Glenn then discussed death threats made against a Wisconsin legislator.  In reaction, the legislator cancelled his public meetings with his constituents.

He then discussed the dedication of Saul Alinsky’s book, “Rules for Radicals” http://www.amazon.com/Rules-Radicals-Saul-Alinsky/dp/0679721134/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1300768491&sr=8-1 .  In the early editions of the book, Mr. Alinsky’s acknowledgement for the book went to Lucifer, the original rebel.  Later editions of the book have this acknowledgement removed.

• Secretary of State Clinton was in Europe today, meeting with the G8 leaders about Libya.
• One of the European diplomats remarked…
• “Frankly, we are just completely puzzled.  We are wondering if this is a priority for the United States.”
• A Clinton insider reports…
• “Obama’s indecision on Libya …has pushed Clinton over the edge…”
• The socialists have taken to the streets of New York at an immigration rally.  They proclaim they are ready for a revolution.  Glenn showed video of some of the protestors being interviewed on camera.
• In Detroit, a branch of the Socialist Equality Party is demonstrating for utilities to be included as a basic human right.
• The President, the Vice President and the Labor Secretary are reaching out to labor unions.
• A judge issued a restraining order to prevent the implementation of Wisconsin’s new law restricting the collective bargaining rights of government union workers.
• Oil prices are up over $103/bbl.
• The U.N. approved a no-fly zone over Libya.
• Germany is signaling that they want to get out of nuclear power completely.
• Here in the U.S., the EPA is cracking down on oil and coal fired power plants.
• Oil workers are striking in Oman for higher wages.
• Glenn showed an article in the Wall Street Journal “Chinese Find Admiration for Longtime Rival (Japan)”.
• Auto and electronic plants in Japan are closing.  Also, plants here are closing due to the lack of component parts.

How the Tragedy in Japan Will Impact Americans

• Glenn feels that the Japanese are reacting the way we did the day after 9/11.
• In Japan, they have a spirit of Ganbatte, meaning perseverance to overcome all obstacles.  They have a rich history of overcoming.
• We are allowing ourselves to turn against ourselves.
• There are people who want to fundamentally transform America.  Glenn feels he is one of them.  He wants America to restore the ideas of the Founders.

Do You Recognize America Now?

• Glenn asked the audience if they have felt they have seen something that triggered the feeling that they do not recognize America as they once knew it.  About 60% of the audience raised their hands.
• Glenn asks if two years ago you would have believed it if he told you…

·        France would be leading in calling for action in Libya.

·        The Federal Reserve is buying our own debt (80%) when they testified before Congress they would never do that.

·        America would be involved in a 3^rd front (in a 3rd Muslim country).

·        America turns against Israel.

Tragedy in Japan

• Norio Nishi, a Japanese national living in America for about twenty years.

• Glenn notes that Americans have contributed about $64 million to Japan in the first 6 days after the earthquake.

• In the first 6 days after the earthquake in Haiti, Americans donated $210 million. 
• He was curious as to way the difference.  There was a discussion about Japan being a first world country and is perceived as being rich.

Glenn asks Norio to discuss the Japanese concept of Nintai.

• It means endurance, perseverance.
• It comes from the time that Japan was ruled by Samurais.
• When you confront danger or a calamity, you don’t shout, yell or lose your head, you just take the pain and go forward. 
• This attitude affects all aspects of Japanese society.

Glenn recounts the story of Lt Col Allen West, now a Representative (R ) from Florida.

• As a Lt Col in the Army in Iraq, Col West was interrogating a suspect that Col West had information about an ambush aimed at some of his soldiers.
• He discharged his gun near the head of the suspect, scaring him.
• The suspect divulged the information about the ambush and soldier’s lives were saved.
• Col West turned himself in to his immediate superior because he knew he was wrong in his treatment of the suspect.
• He said that he would do it again if that would again save the lives of his soldiers.

Glenn feels that we have changed.  Yesterday, he saw behavior in the streets by some 18 and 19 year olds that were so very much different from that he had seen in watching the way the Japanese reacted to their troubles, e.g., no looting, etc.

Michael Auslin notes that Japan is about the size of Montana.  The people all live in about 20% of that space, due to mountains and other factors that make the remainder of the land uninhabitable.

Norio commented that reports show that America has about 30 times the number of lawyers on a per capita basis than in Japan.  He went on to discuss another concept, omauri that says you must give the utmost respect to your neighbor or the other person.  This attitude helps explain why the legal system is not used when there are disagreements between Japanese.

Update on Israeli Family Killed by Terrorists

• Glenn showed some photos of the Jewish and Palestinian reaction to the murders.
• The Jewish were sorrowful, the Palestinians were jubilant.
• The family was shown being buried.
• Glenn does not understand why this tragedy is not getting more coverage by the press.

Glenn and the Rabbi discuss the Jewish tradition of lighting a candle when someone dies. 

• The soul is like a candle. 
• One candle can light a large number of other candles without diminishing the intensity of it’s own light.
• Glenn recommends that his viewers light a candle with their families this evening and discuss its significance.  If there are young children, you don’t have to get very graphic on the details, but perhaps you should with older children.

President Obama’s Schedule

• 60^th round of golf since taking office.
• NCAA bracket picks.
• Today a St Patty’s day celebration with members of congress.
• Tomorrow – off to Brazil for a vacation.

Something is not Right

Glenn feels that there is something not right.  (With the President’s reaction to significant world events.)

Possible Explanations

Glenn offers three possible explanations.

1. Style – We have never seen this style from previous presidents.
2. Out of Touch – He is disengaged.
3. Unspoken agenda – The President is doing something no one is talking about.

Reverend Wright

• President Obama got his understanding of Jesus from Reverend Wright.
• Reverend Wright understands salvation to be collective salvation.  That is the opposite of what Jesus taught – individual salvation.
• Collective salvation means that you cannot be saved unless everyone is saved.  You have to save others, sometimes you have to tell people or force them to do something so that they, and you, can be saved.
• Later, President Obama replaced Reverend Wright with another spiritual advisor, Jim Wallace.  Wallace also believes in collective salvation.   In addition, he is a Marxist.
• In the video shown last night (See link here à http://www.glennbeck.com/2011/03/16/rev-wright-confirms-everything-said-about-him/  )   Reverend Wright confirmed that Black Liberation Theology is anti-capitalistic, Marxist and anti-Israel.  Glenn feels that he is also anti-Semitic.  He feels that Reverend Wright’s sermons mirror those of Louis Farrakhan.  Part of that sermon shows Reverend Wright in favor of Iran having nuclear weapons.
• Glenn respects Reverend Wright, as he does not try to hide his radical ideas.  Reverend Wright has also criticized the president for concealing his view to appease the Jews.
• Reverend Wright went with Louis Farrakhan to visit Qaddafi in Libya during the time Obama was a member of his church.

Not Friendly to Israel

• Once Obama got into office there have been an inconsistent series of actions that are not friendly to Israel:
• March 2009 - Hillary Clinton calling Israel unhelpful in the settlement issue.
• Joe Biden announced he would like the Israeli outposts dismantled.
• September 2009 – President Obama tells the UN that he doesn’t accept the legitimacy of the settlements.
• White House Press Secretary is critical of 900 new housing units being built in the settlements.
• March 2010 – Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S. says that the relationship between our two countries is the worst it has been in over 30 years.
• March 2010 – President Obama snubs Israel’s Prime Minister, Netanyahu.
• May 29, 2010, President Obama opposes Israel in an international conference.
• The White House issues its “Deep Regret” over the flotilla raid and openly supports a UN resolution condemning Israel for civilian deaths during that raid.  (Code Pink and the wife of Bill Ayres helped organize that flotilla.)
• September 2010 – the administration is “disappointed” in the Israeli settlements.
• February 2011 – The administration backs a UN anti-settlement statement.
• The U.S. vetoes an anti-Israel resolution, but says publicly that the settlements are illegitimate and a folly.
• General Jones, the President’s National Security advisor, tells an anti-Semitic joke at a public event.
• Someone else in the administration refers to Jerusalem by the Arabic name.
• Glenn showed a chalkboard map of the region and notes that Obama was quick to encourage Egyptians to rise up.  He did not do so in Iran and Libya.

Libya

• Glenn then held up copies of a written report detailing a Libyan PR campaign that lasted from 2007 – 2009. 

                                                               i.      This campaign was to improve Libya and Qaddafi’s image in the U.S. and convince America that Qaddafi was not an enemy.

• The American PR firm hired for this project contacted, among others, Cass Sunsteen and George Soros.
• One of the plan’s goals was to…

                                                               i.      “Introduce and bring to Libya a meticulously selected group of independents and objective experts…”

                                                             ii.      These people would meet with senior Libyan officials and, after they returned home, write favorable articles about Libya.

• Also, Qaddafi made a contribution to the London School of Economics (LSE).  George Soros, a graduate of the LSE, told the LSE that it was okay to accept Libya’s money.  Soros apologized for this in 2009.

Glenn feels that the correct explanation for the president’s actions is Number 3 above, An unspoken Agenda

Lockerby Bomber

• 2009 – The Lockerby bomber was released from a Scottish prison and returned to Libya.
• 7/22/10 – President Obama was shown in a video complaining about the release of the Lockerby bomber.
• Wikileaks later released a communication from Obama to the English in which he stated it was far preferable to release the bomber than keeping him in prison.

Revolutions

Glenn says the president is inconsistent in supporting revolutions.  Also, he is inconsistent of demonstrations within the U.S.  In the U.S., he is supportive of union demonstrations, but not Tea Party demonstrations.

Glenn showed a video of anti-Qaddafi forces fighting.  Glenn then said that the time to support the uprising is at the beginning when momentum is on their side. 

He then showed a video of Secretary of Defense Gates testifying before congress that a no-fly zone in Libya will require attacks on Libyan assets.  It will also require more airplanes than are available on a single carrier.  Glenn points out that if we do a no-fly zone in Libya, we will be involved in three Muslim countries – in a region that hates us.

Glenn said that he was upset with the NCAA bracket picks because he feels that something is not right.

Where is the leader of the free world?  Right now it isn't President Obama.

Glenn feels that the world is being divvied up and America is being re-aligned with new allies and new friends.

Glenn feels that there is something missing in our response to the situations in Japan.  He gave what he thought the speech should be.  (See more here à http://www.glennbeck.com/2011/03/16/rev-wright-confirms-everything-said-about-him/ ).

In the first six days, Americans have given $64 million to Japanese relief.  But in the first six days after the Haitian earthquake, American gave $210 million.  Glenn hopes that we have not come to believe that charity comes from the government.  He wants Americans to be there for the Japanese so that we can continue to be the America we have always been.  He then asks for donations for Japan via the Red Cross.
