Glenn Beck Program, February 10, 2011

Egypt

  • In the background, Glenn shows a picture from the Egyptain demonstration.
  • There is s lot going on in Egypt and none of it good.
  • It’s chaos.  An unhappy group of demonstrators.

On Day 2 of the demonstrations, Glenn said,

New York Times

The radical Islamists/communists/ socialists will
  • Work together against Israel.
  • Work together against capitalism.
  • Work together to overturn stability.

Todays Front-Page Article

Glenn noted that the New York Times has been calling him crazy for stating the above.
He then referred to a front-page article in the New York Times of today.  In part, it says that:
“The Egyptian your revolt, which encompasses liberals, socialists and members of the Muslim Brotherhood.”

“I like the Brotherhood most and they like me said Sally Moore, a 32-year-old psychiatrist, a Coptic Christian and an avowed leftist and…”

“Feminist of mixed Irish-Egyptian roots.  They always have a hidden agenda, we know, and you never know when power comes how they will behave.”

“But they are very good with organizing, they are calling for a civil state just like everyone else, so let…”

“them have a political party just like everyone else.  They will not win more than 10%, I think.”

Later, the article talks about the Muslim Brotherhood joining with other groups – including communists, to seem more universal.

The New York Times sees all these radical groups working together and doesn’t see maybe something bad will come out of it.

Community Organizers At Work

Then Glenn showed a clip of President Obama saying that the people call for change – a new generation.

Glenn pointed to a picture of the crowd of demonstrators in Egypt and said that they didn’t just show up for these rallies.  They were organized.  He has been beating this drum because he thinks we are being played and he wanted his audience to see for themselves so they would know to question everything they are being told.

New World Order

Glenn doesn’t think that things will turn out well for the people of Egypt.  You are seeing the start of the New World Order.  This is an Archduke Ferdinand moment that led up to WWI.

He then showed a clip of James Clapper, National Intelligence Director, saying the Muslim Brotherhood is a secular movement eschewing violence.  Then Glenn showed clips of the spiritual and intellectual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, the ninth most important Muslim scholar in the world, calling for the end of Jews.  Glenn pointed out that if you believe the Muslim Brotherhood and not the Director of National Intelligence, you might be OK.  If, how ever, if you believe the Director of National Intelligence and not the Muslim Brotherhood, you’re dead.

Guest:  K. T. McFarland, Fox New Security Analyst

Glenn and K.T. talked about the new Egyptian Vice President, Suliman.  She pointed out that he is part of the ruling group and is just like Mubarak.  She feels that if there is a power vacuum in Egypt, the only viable group that could fill it is the Muslim Brotherhood and that is not good.

Future Dominos

Glenn then showed a video clip of a British politician discussing her experiences with the demonstrators and then she advocated they bring down their own government.  Glenn feels that this is a domino leading to the coming insurrection.

Guest: Dore Gold, Former Israeli UN Ambassador

He notes that new groups are coming to power in Egypt; many want to tear up the Egyptian-Israli Peace Treaty.

Glenn then held up a report on the Red-Green Alliance.  This is an alliance between Trotskyites and the Islamists that was started in London.  It has held several meeting in Egypt over several years.

Guest:  Retired Lt General William Boykin, involved with the 1979 revolution in Iran.  He is also the author of “Danger Close” (http://www.amazon.com/Danger-Close-William-G-Boykin/dp/0805449558/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1297487969&sr=8-1 ).

General Boykin predicts an Islamic Republic in Egypt.  The Muslim Brotherhood killed Anwar Sadat because of his support for Israel.

Glenn noted that Algeria is set to have a day of rage.

The General said that the radicals would see events in Egypt and tout them as a victory, similar to the defeat of the Soviet Union in Afghanistan.

Glenn feels this well be just the first domino, which will affect the entire region.
